We are piloting a new fixed bus route for residents and workers along 28th Street now that The Rapid bus system is no longer serving the township.
The new service operated by nonprofit Hope Network began Monday, Aug. 28, and runs from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, hitting a number of major retailers along 28th Street in the township.
The four-month pilot replaces bus service by The Rapid, which ended Aug. 28 following a breakdown in negotiations between the bus system and township for continued service.
